Self funding patients:
Initial consultation - £299
This will include a history, physical examination and a colour Duplex Ultrasound scan
Veinlite transilluminated Microsclerotherapy - £195 per session
The number of sessions required will depend upon the nature and extent of the veins to be treated. This will be outlined during your initial consultation. In addition there is a one off charge of £45 for two Class II thigh length compression stockings.
Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy - £975 per leg
This is a fixed price covering all treatment and follow up appointments up to six months and includes two Class II thigh length stockings per leg treated
Surgery - the cost of surgery varies depending on the nature of your varicose veins, whether you have had any previous treatment for them and whether it is one or both legs that are being operated on. The Spire Parkway Hospital will often be able to offer a fixed price package for surgery.
Insured patients:
Please bring your full insurance details with you including the policy and, where appropriate, the authorisation number. May I also politely recommend that you make yourself fully aware of any limitations and conditions that apply to your policy so that any re-imbursement shortfall does not come as an unpleasant and unexpected shock.
Initial Consultation: your insurance company will be invoiced for your consultation and duplex ultrasound scan in accordance with their schedule of fees (these are normally based on ‘BUPA rates’, widely regarded as the ‘industry standard’.

Shortfall: In the event of an insurance re-imbursement shortfall in respect of your consultation, duplex scan or treatment fees, you will be asked to kindly settle the difference by personal cheque/cash within 30 days
